Stabiuzzo is a country with an ancient and very rich historical and archaeological tradition. The name derives from the Latin word «Stabulum», which means a resting place for the ancient Romans, who were always stationed along the ancient consular roads: in Stabiuzzo, the station was along the Roman Postumia (coming from Genoa to Aquileia) which passed to the border with Roncadelle.
